The Role: As a Quality Service Analyst at CLBC, you are responsible for representing as the primary point of contact for service providers. Accountabilities include: Negotiating contract costing and advising on corrective action in contracted service delivery Identifying opportunities for agency service reorganization and assisting with the implementation Consulting about service availability and resource suitability for the individuals we serve to assess a variety of issues Ensuring that individuals and their families receive details about individual resource allocation decisions Working with the Facilitator in assisting individuals and their families who are experiencing a crisis Recruiting and developing new service relationships Responding to enquiries and providing details on supports and services, guidelines, etc. Providing info to assist in the investigation of licensed residential resources Ensuring service collaboration and developing cost-sharing agreements Key duties include: Developing service contracts or agreements and n egotiating the costing details and quantities Liaising with key staff regarding current funding limitations or delays and participating as a team player in local budget management Receiving monitoring reports from service providers and individuals, families and friends: Reviewing to ensure plan objectives have been met; identifies potential issues, at-risk concerns and serviceproblems; Conducting on-site reviews (staffed residential facilities, homes, programs, etc.) as necessary and investigating competency issues; advises the manager of major recurring systemic problems Receiving financial reports and reviewing details to ensure delivery of agreed-upon services for approved funding supports; providing feedback on corrective action requirements to improve/ address service deficiencies; monitoring implementation and/ or recommends contract cancellations as required Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, or a related discipline with preference given to those who have worked in the social services sector in areas such as resource development or contract management; or 10 yrs recent relevant work background with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Possession of a Class five driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of CLBC. Use of own vehicle on expenses. Successful candidates are subject to a Criminal Record Check (Criminal Records Review Act).
