Position overview The solutions architect proactively and holistically leads and supports activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions. Solutions include projects, products, systems, shared infrastructure services and shared application services. A particularly high background level with Microsoft technologies and services is key to developing IGT’s IT roadmap. They have a deep understanding of business goals, objective and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes. The solutions architect [i] provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. He or she creates deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions — including systems (applications, processes and details), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes. Responsibilities The QA Analyst debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software. Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing. Requirements Education: Associates degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred. Background: 1-5 yrs of related skills is required.
