Director of Marketing A growing AI company has created a brand new position and is looking for an incredible Marketing Director to join the team. We are looking for a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills, experience in developing SaaS marketing strategies and the associated content journey that communicates the benefits and details of their AI platform. What You'll Do Partner with the CCO and other key stakeholders to define the strategic positioning platform for our strategic segments and related growth and efficiency priorities. Develop customer segment insights, value propositions and messaging, cross-channel marketing campaigns, and content to drive tangible business results. Deliver insightful marketing programs for increased uptake and ultimately market share and profitability through lead generation, upsell and cross-sell strategies. In partnership with key stakeholders, develop the roadmap for the evolution of the positioning platform and the key strategic elements that must be considered to grow these segments. Drive the development of marketing strategies and programs for our defined customer and market segments. You will be the senior strategic marketing executive on the cross functional team to engage and ensure strong alignment across all groups to successfully grow and deepen relationships among the strategic customer segments. Lead the team to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy. Partner with the insights/analytics team to develop segmentation/targeting strategies and standardized metrics, reporting and scorecards for all strategic segment marketing initiatives. Develop the influencer and media strategy utilizing existing and new platforms and channels team to achieve business goals. Determine how best to leverage content to help engage and deepen relationships with customers, prospects and influencers across our key strategic segments. Required Qualifications Strategic marketer with integrated experience specifically within the B2B AI and/or SaaS market. Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent practical experience. 10 + years' experience building, executing and measuring global, regional and segment marketing and communications plans as well as managing associated budgets. 5-7+ years' experience building, coaching, inspiring and managing marketing teams. Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize complex concepts into simple, powerful and engaging positioning and messaging - you'll manage everything from product launches to content development. Proven experience developing and distilling market research via qualitative and quantitative methods and proficient analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics. A true digital and social marketing master, constantly seeking to understand how new platforms and experiences can be used to create effective and disruptive marketing programs. Understands design thinking and has a deep understanding and appreciation for the human and emotional elements of a marketing strategy and brings this approach to developing and executing marketing programs. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to executives and a variety of audiences, translating complex initiatives into materials and products that effectively communicate core values and goals. Ability to give concise, compelling verbal presentations to senior decision-makers, and to respond quickly and thoughtfully to challenges and pushback in a meeting. Ability to handle significant workload with strong project management skills to meet aggressive deadlines. Organized, detail-oriented and capable of advancing projects simultaneously. Knowledge & Proficiency in Core Product Marketing Skill Areas: strategic business planning, content strategy and generation, competitor analysis, market segmentation, buyer persona profile analysis, messaging and positioning, product launch management and channel readiness.
