You are a seasoned IT Leader with background in disaster recovery and new infrastructure implementation. You will be responsible for the full-scope of applications, infrastructure, and network, of the company. You will develop strategies and processes and tools that assist in driving and achieving business objectives, while ensuring optimal efficiencies and security at a reasonable cost. As the IT Manager, you will also be responsible for the management of an IT Technician. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain, develop and support business continuity strategies including: device spares, refresh strategy, high availability design and disaster recovery solutions Responsible for technical support of business and process control infrastructure that includes network, server and client solutions (e.g. standards best practices, security, lifecycle planning, roadmaps, R&D) Develop internal customer relationships and end user satisfaction Manage 3rd-party software/vendor relationships Assist in department operational planning and projects, organize and negotiate the allocation of IT resources Coordinate duties for IT Technician, offer guidance and deliver performance management Disaster, recovery planning Identify, categorize and prioritize incidents and problems; develop solutions for problems Assist with prioritization and implementation of projects Manage hardware repair and procurement, software installation, asset management and new user set ups Education/Background: Completion of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Details Technology or a related position 4+ years hands-on IT Support background 2+ years previous background in a supervisory role is required In depth understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications Proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation Proven expertise to work successfully with limited supervision Expert knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, Exchange, Office 365, and other cloud based services Unique Qualifications/Conditions: Some on call responsibilities are required Sle-Co Manufacturing is a Tier II automotive parts supplier serving Tier one markets for both interior and exterior molded components and assemblies.
