Position summary As Goodfood continues to scale enjoying tremendous growth, the company is looking to recruit a dynamic leader into the role of Director, National Supply Chain and Execution (Packaged Goods). Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Head of Strategic Execution, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Packaged Goods function nationally. This is a fast-paced, high-growth position requiring an individual who aspires to succeed and continuously grow on a personal and professional level. Responsibilities Responsible for leading the Packaged Goods function across Canada, from People to Strategy to Execution along with full P&L responsibilities; Deliver on the customer promise, at all times, rain or shine; Hire world-class talent to build out the functional team; Achieve all corporate objectives to make sure KPIs are met or exceeded and own the functions P Strategically plan and execute on longterm objectives while effectively managing the day-to-day goals in a timely and efficient manner; Responsible for weekly procurement activities and demand planning; Build and nurture a working environment that is conducive to high-performance, employee engagement, accountability and intrinsic motivation to succeed; Identify risk within the supply chain and address potential concerns to ensure the availability and flow of supply; In order to meet Goodfoods corporate and sustainability objectives, improve and develop new procurement procedures to maximize efficiencies and cost savings; Lead vendor and supplier relationships ensuring that short and long term objectives are met; Track performance metrics and act proactively to resolve any potential issues; Validate the accuracy of the data required for the execution of operations. Qualifications Perfect candidate Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or a related position; MBA or postgraduate operations training, an asset; Consistent track record of strong performance both academically and professionally; Entrepreneurial mindset with a resourceful, can-do attitude; Exceptional people leadership, motivation and organizational skills; Action-oriented executive possessing a natural capacity to assess team skills, with an expertise to leverage strengths while developing weaknesses; Strong project management and talent acquisition / assessment capabilities; and Experienced Google Docs and Microsoft excel or equivalent Office Suite user.
