An A220 buyer is responsible for the WP commercial management. B1. As buyer In close alignment with the Lead Buyer / MFT Leader: The jobholder is accountable for contract management for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility. The jobholder is accountable for providing the best purchasing conditions for Airbus for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility. The jobholder is accountable for delivering the Value Creation projects within his/her scope of activity. The jobholder leads Work Package teams for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility and ensure consistency with the Multi Functional Team The jobholder is accountable to deliver the Procurement Plan within his/her scope of responsibilities B2. As Transversal Project Manager : The jobholder is accountable for the deliverables of Improvement Project, when appointed Project Manager. Main activities Conduct the Buyer activities and secure his/her support to MFT (Multi functional Team) Leader of "Supplier Selection and Contracting" process Conduct the Buyer activities and secure his/her support to MFT Leader of "Supplier Monitoring and Contract Management" process: Implement contract / business relationship Monitor /Manage Contract Execution and Contractual Coverage of Evolution Requests Amend Contract Anticipate and Mitigate Contractual Risks Manage Contract Expire (Evaluate, Prepare and Send Request for Purchasing & Terminate Contract) Conduct the Buyer activities of "Supply External Products and Services" process Conduct, or contribute to, all projects impacting the contractual terms and conditions for the products and/or suppliers under his/her responsibility, eg: Value Creation projects, Transfer of Work projects, claims or liabilities management. Contribute to budget elaboration within her/his scope of activity Organize and conduct the Work Package(WP) Team (internal network) Organize and conduct the Work Package Review Meeting (with suppliers) with the support of the WP team Outputs Professional supplier relationship, up-to-date contracts compliant with the Procurement Policy and Strategy for all WPs in his/her perimeter. Achieved best purchasing conditions for Airbus for the products and/or suppliersunder his/her responsibility (cost reduction targets met and competitively priced change requests). Availability of all elements on time and on quality in his/her perimeter. Managed supplier risks and supplier rating reflecting the actual performance of the supplier. Value creation delivered for his/herDepartment for the Improvement Projects under his/her responsibility Organisation structure The job holder reports hierarchicaly to the Lead Buyer. Main role interfaces include : All functions involved in the Procurement Process: Other P Departments : Supply Chain Quality, Strategy and Services, Material Management... Programmes, including Customer Services Engineering Manufacturing Finance Suppliers: .... As our ideal candidate, You have experience in Procurement 5 to 10 years (mandatory) You have successful experience in teamwork in an intercultural environment You have effective project management You have effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness You have financial key indicators knowledge You have experience in delivering cost reduction initiatives You have ability to drive improvement & innovation to deliver concrete results You have in depths know-how of the Aerostructure market and supplier strategies of his/her perimeter You have proven in communication, especially with suppliers' representatives and internal stakeholders You have effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders Negotiation level in English Please note that a s part of your duties, you will be required to travel to various Airbus sites as well as to your suppliers' facilities in order to complete ongoing business.
