Thank you for your interest in Spinnaker. He is another dog born at a commercial breeding farm and not given the proper socialization and life experiences that would have helped him live in our world. We don't know why those choosing to breed don't provide their puppies with the best experiences, but this is too often the reality for dogs in these situations. When Spinnaker finally was released his new family was completely unprepared to give him the help he needed so they called us. Could we help? It took just a little bit of time and then we brought him into a great foster home. Sure, he had to travel from Nova Scotia to PEI, but if you've been following SPIN, you know that we have amazing volunteers who step up to give every dog what they need.
