If you are looking for a calm, gentle, and adoring companion, Dixon is the cat for you. His personality is the perfect balance between loving and independent. He likes to hang out near you, snuggle up on the couch, and sleep at the foot of the bed at night. He will often come by for a scratch or belly rub before settling in for a long nap. He has a rumbling purr and will purr with happiness just from being near you. Dixon loves to drink from the bathroom tap and will put his whole head in the water! He is exceptionally gentle and prefers a quiet environment. He is okay with older children who know how to respect his boundaries and give him space if he needs it. He is also okay with other cats and dogs who share his calm disposition, but would also be happy as a solo pet. Dixon is ready for his forever home and family and has been waiting patiently.
