Hello, my name is Max!! I am a young German Shorthaired Pointer, and I have lots and lots of energy! Us Pointers are known as working dogs, which means we love tasks and to be kept busy busy busy. I used to live on a farm with my folks, but they found they just didn't have the time for my high energy needs, and wanted to me to go to a home with someone who has the time to dedicate and do fun things with me! I've been known to take off if my yard isn't fenced, so either a good fence for me to run in, or an adopter that is very active and will keep me leashed and supervised in the yard is best. I am looking for a home where I can get tons of exercise, walking, hiking, camping, you name it! I'm a busy boy with a fun outlook on life! Maybe you can teach me fun things like tricks, new cues, or how to put my toys away! Heck, us Pointers are so smart, maybe you can teach me how to do some chores around the house!! If you have the time and energy for a guy like me, then I cannot wait to meet you!
