Say hello to Gucci! Gucci and his two siblings were found together, seeking shelter in a guard house. Young and alone, they’d sought out safety from the elements and fortunately, were soon rescued and brought to safety at a local shelter. Initially a little shy and apprehensive (shelters can be pretty noisy places!), Gucci has transormed into the happiest, social little fella. He's playful and would do great with another small dog sibling given his great social skills. He's long forgotten any concern he had with being left alone and is now approaching every day with enthusiasm and joy! He's proven himself to be a great friend to all - dogs, humans and little humans! The only thing he hasn’t been exposed to yet is cats. However, being a petite friendly boy, we’re certain a cat-introduction would go well. We can arrange for that if you already have a feline family member. As a breed, Rat Terriers are loyal and loving and are especially good with young children. We'd suggest children 8+ given his small stature however. Gucci won't have high exercise needs, but will still benefit from exploring his neighbourhood on daily walks. Gucci will have no problem adjusting to a life with a family in his new home. He'll pick up leash skills in no time, and with a little encouragement and effort, will be a quick study to become housebroken. These are all things he can hardly wait to practice and master when he finds his forever people. Now, this little gentleman just needs someone to fall in love with his playful, loyal personality and soulful eyes. He's come such a long way, and wants his chance at a loving home!
