Beta - while kittens go quickly, the adults are often left behind. In the case of Beta, if you don't consider him, you are missing out. Beta came from an abandoned house near 100 mile and was evacuated with 38 other cats after surviving an unspeakably cold winter. It is a miracle they are alive. For a cat that has been living outside in harsh conditions, it is an absolute marvel that he is as calm, sweet and affectionate as he is. He is the PERFECT cat. Everything you could possibly want in a companion - Beta is. There is no way to articulate the love that he brings to our lives on a daily basis. If you are looking for a new family member, look no further. Beta would do well in a home with adults and/or gentle kids. He is amazing with other cats but tends to shy away if there are more dominant ones around. He will let younger ones eat before him even if that leaves him with no food. We recommend adopting him on his own or with another gentle more submissive cat.
