Hey there, I'm Angel and I'm ready to come home with you!Guinea pigs like me make cute noises like whistling, purring, squealing, and we generally like to chatter. We make great pets as we are usually calm and easy to handle and care for. I would love an enriched home life with a variety of tunnels, toys, and perhaps another piggie friend! We are social creatures and love having other pig friends; we will need a friend of the same sex to prevent unplanned babies. Did you know that much like humans, guinea pigs are unable to store or create vitamin C in our body? This means that I require a supplement every day to keep me healthy - vitamin C tablets are the easiest way to do this!The adoptions staff are ready to answer any questions you have and help you be the best guinea pig parent ever! They can tell you all about my dietary needs, housing (an enclosure that's at least 5ft by 2ft by 2ft please!), and any other things I may need or like!So come down the Edmonton Humane Society to meet me, no appointment necessary!
