The General Manager will be responsible for the facility’s overall operations, its success, the customer experience, and compliance with applicable health and food safety regulations. Day to Day Oversee daily business operations with effective management and leadership. Continuously ensure and promote a safe and healthy work environment that meets OH&S objectives. Monitor and manage financial and inventory reports and results. Develop initiatives to maximize investments and increase efficiency. Create a positive work environment with a strong focus on team and talent management. Build strong customer and community relationships. Monitor and understand market developments and competition. Create and deliver an annual facility budget and business plan. Oversee the preventative maintenance program. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in the operation of a grain elevator facility. Knowledge and understanding of the grain business, markets, pricing, and world trends. Experience in a management position with proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff. Experience in customer relations and sales with exceptional interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to create and implement business strategies.
