JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for assisting the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring all customer orders are shipped in a timely manner. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Train and mentor team members throughout the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Company Core Values Delegate task & support in execution - support team where necessary to complete the task Support in creating process and ensuring team members are following process Monitor team performance and report on metrics to Supervisor Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for DC team members (i.e. retrain team members and build a safety culture through team meetings and activities) to enhance safety awareness Ensure timely and accurate order receipt and shipment; responsible for maintaining cut off time As a member of the DC leadership team this position is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy Perform stock counts, stock maintenance and inventory count reconciliation Assist with picking, checks, loads and processes inbound and outbound product Effectively communicate with site leadership regarding daily operations QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with dedication to meeting deadlines The ability to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forklifts Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker (not limited to motorized forklifts) and lift up to 50 lbs in weight High sense of urgency and customer service Previous SAP experience considered an asset Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
