We're currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position as a carpenter for one of our clients. JOB DETAILS- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience Work site environment Confined spaces Noisy Dusty Work setting Construction Various locations Renovation Maintenance and repair Residential Tasks Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Supervision 1 to 2 people Transportation/travel information Willing to travel Travel expenses paid by employer Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Physically demanding Tight deadlines Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Reliability Team player Values and ethics Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
