Discounted hotel stays under our client's lodging offerings, and discounted food & beverage and retail experiences The chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friends Access to subsidized mental health and wellness resources Opportunities for career growth or future work at our client's other locations Access to one of the world's most beautiful and iconic National Parks Responsibilities: Reporting to the hotel manager, the Front Desk Supervisor will provide leadership to a team of Front Desk and Guest Experience Agents that includes but is not limited to the following: Oversee scheduling, and training of the front office team, working closely with the Guest Experience Supervisor. Act as a Hotel Manager during absences, after-hour emergencies, and scheduled days off. Learn the procedures of Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor and be available to work a variety of shifts including morning (7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.), afternoon (3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.), and overnight (11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.). Supervise the activities of hotel operations and report issues to the hotel management team for review and investigation. Effectively handle all guest complaints, taking corrective action to prevent recurrence and convert the guest into a repeat customer. Provide team with tools and training to handle guest concerns and complaints in a consistent manner. Ensure all staff are thoroughly familiar with the hotel's emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency. Anticipate the needs of department leaders, staff and arriving, and in-house guests. Enforces our client's policies, work standards, and disciplinary procedures. Coordinates staff events and development opportunities with the Hotel Manager. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work with minimal direct supervision Proven computer skills Experience in-office procedures, ordering materials, and scheduling. High school or equivalent education required, bachelor's Degree or related technical school degree in hospitality preferred Two to five years of hotel experience, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per our client's standards Work Environment: Beautiful.
