Access one of the world's most beautiful and iconic National Parks. What will you do in this job?: Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread. Create and decorate pastry items to enhance the overall dining experience. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage ingredient stocks. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. Stay updated on pastry trends and continually develop culinary skills. Contribute to menu planning and innovation in the pastry department. Convey a passion for pastry artistry and excellence in each creation. What skills and experience do you need for this job?: 1+ years of experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role. Proficiency in baking techniques, pastry decoration, and dessert preparation. Knowledge of various pastry types and the ability to create diverse pastry items. Culinary training or certification in baking and pastry arts is an asset. Strong attention to detail in following recipes and portion sizes. Ability to work in a high-paced kitchen environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. Creativity and an innovative approach to pastry creations. Collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with kitchen staff. Passion for the art of pastry and dedication to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
