We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Cook to join our client's team in a restaurant setting, contributing to their commitment to exceptional dining experiences. Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work Setting: Restaurant Responsibilities: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet culinary excellence. Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies to maintain kitchen efficiency. Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations. Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices. Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a productive and organized kitchen environment. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Clean kitchen and work areas to meet the highest hygiene and sanitation standards. Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including meal preparation, cooking, and service. Specialize in Lebanese cuisine to provide unique and authentic culinary experiences. Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Cook Trade Certification Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail. Work in a fast-paced environment. Handle heavy loads.
