We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our client's team, contributing to their commitment to financial accuracy and efficiency. If you have a passion for numbers and meticulous attention to detail, we invite you to apply for this position.Work Setting: Office of a RestaurantRequirements:Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a bookkeeping or financial role.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and financial statements. Monitor and manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and financial planning activities. Adhere to company policies and financial regulations, including tax compliance. Provide financial reports and information to support decision-making and financial analysis. Security and Safety: Criminal record check.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:Work in an office or business environment.May need to sit for extended periods and use computer systems for dataentry.
