We are looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our client's team, contributing to their commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly demeanour, we invite you to apply for this position. Work Setting: Restaurant Requirements: Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities: Address customers' complaints or concerns Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveller's cheques or room billings Describe menu items including daily specials for customers Advise on menu selections Balance cash and record sales Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages Serve food and beverages Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff Assist clients/guests with special needs Provide customer service Security and Safety: Criminal record check. Computer and Technology knowledge: Electronic cash register. Point of sale system. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining area. Lift trays, carry trays of food and beverages, and serve customers efficiently.
