We're currently searching for an Assistant Front Desk Manager for our esteemed client in the hospitality sector. If you have a strong background in front desk operations, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to support the management of front desk activities, we're excited to introduce you to this key role within our client's esteemed hospitality team. Physical Requirement: Medium: Work activities involve handling loads between 10 and 20 kg, predominantly in an indoor setting. Accountabilities: Assisting in managing the front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in/out processes, and resolving guest issues promptly. Supervising front desk staff and collaborating effectively with various departments to maintain high service standards. Coordinating with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and providing exceptional guest service. Overseeing room assignments, managing reservations, and handling billing procedures accurately. Contributing to the development and implementation of front desk policies and procedures. Assisting with training, coaching, and evaluating front desk team members to ensure exceptional performance. Preparing reports, managing guest inquiries, and handling special requests effectively. Ideal Candidate: Minimum 1-3 years of recent supervisory or management experience, showcasing effective team training, coaching, and supervision. Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry best practices, customer service, and hotel operations. Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and adapt to flexible work schedules, including weekends and evenings. Proficiency in hotel management software, including Opera, is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with guests and team members. Accredited Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field; a Bachelor's Degree is considered an asset.
