We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our client's team in a restaurant setting, contributing to their commitment to exceptional dining experiences. If you have a passion for cooking and meticulous attention to detail, we invite you to apply for this position.Requirements: Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work Setting: Restaurant Tasks: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies Inspect kitchens and food service areas Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Manage kitchen operations Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment Physically demanding Repetitive tasks Personal Suitability: Organized Reliability Team player Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Close Date: 2023-12-31
