Name: Clipper Breed: GSD x Farm Dog MixDOB/Sex: Dec 22, 2023/MKnown Health Issues: Had audible murmur at 8 week vaccine appointment. Not currently present. Echocardiogram will be performed by rescue to be sure. Good With: Cats! Dogs! Kids!NO DOG PARKS Clipper is one of 8 puppies born on a farm. He was surrendered with his mom, Bounty (small GSD), at 6 weeks of age. Clipper is as sweet as they come! He is curious, playful, and cuddly 🥰 He has a softer personality, so takes a moment to warm up to you, but once he does, so many kisses! He is in a critical socialization time, so it's important that his adopter be ready to take him on regular, controlled excursions, to continue to build his confidence in the world. He would love a confident canine companion to grow with and learn from. He loves to climb and explore, and enjoys coming along for hikes! He has started on leash training, house training, crate training and basic manners. As with all puppies this is a work in progress. Continuing his training ongoing, will be key to setting him for success. He would love an active adventure family, or backyard sport dabbling home. He will be fine with kids, that are patient and understand boundaries. He would not be good in a rough and tumble home. Cats will be fine, with proper training and introductions. His successful adopter must be willing to bring him in for his 16 week booster appointments, as well as his neuter, to our vet in St Catharines. This is all included with his adoption.
