Meet Marshmallow!Marshmallow was one of 21 rabbits removed from a single home. She adjusted to our team quickly, and was placed in foster care in an effort to learn more about her, here are some notes from her foster mom!Some highlights about Marshmallow for others to know would be:1. She is friendly and likes children and appears to be curious about other rabbits and may be good with other rabbits.2. She loves to hide in blankets and her hay house. Enjoys digging and burying herself. 3. Not fond of being picked up, has started to seek attention in form of petting from humans. She will sit with us and let us pet her. She loves to stand on her back legs to check out what her humans are doing when near her home. 4. Super playful - can run very fast and does binky's ??, loves to explore and chew cardboard boxes, loves hay balls, and toys with bells and feathers. She will not walk on floors unless they have carpet/towel/blanket on them. 5. Food info - loves her hay and pellets, treats like apple, carrot, parsley, banana, raspberry, lettuce, strawberry, blueberry, and salt chew toys.Like all rabbits in HSHPE care, Marshmallow is provided a litter box to work on litter training while waiting for her forever home. She will require a large living space (an exercise pen is ideal) and plenty of time outside of his enclosure to exercise and play. Rabbits will not thrive if left in a small cage; this is a cruel and sad existence that often creates behavioral and medical issues. Providing your new companion attention, exercise, enrichment items, hideouts and toys will ensure they live a happy, healthy, and mentally stimulating life.As always, please do your research on rabbit behavior, heath, nutrition, and general care before applying to adopt. Rabbits are considered exotic pets that require specialized care (including vet care!) and live 10+ years if properly cared for.
