Microchipped, DOB January 10, 2021 Kitty Papa has a low-key personality, gently snoozing next to his favourite people during the day. He will park himself on your desk next to your laptop while you're working, and he always wants to inspect the kitchen while you're cooking! KP likes to play with wand and string toys as long as you are directing the action. He can be moderately active in the evenings when his people are home. He loves attention, is always curious about what you're doing, and welcomes meeting new people. Kitty Papa has a bit of a squint. There's nothing wrong with his eyes, he just has heavy eyelids. He also had his left incisor removed after dental surgery. Sometimes his lip is harmlessly folded into his mouth and he appears to have the silliest scowls. Kitty Papa has asthma and will need to be on a low dose of daily medication. He loves taking his pill with his favourite treat Churu! When KP was brought to TCR he was obese, but he's steadily been losing weight. You'll need to keep an eye on his food and treats to ensure he continues his weight loss journey.Adoption processAdoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old). This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way! Note: -Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat.
