Are you looking for a friendly and social kitten who wants to be your one and only? Then Cecelia, also known as Cece, might be the perfect fit for you! Cece is our Caribbean Queen, coming to us all the way from St. Lucia! She is as bright as the sun in the sky and as spirited as a warm ocean breeze. Cecelia is only one year old and wants to live the life of a kitten that she has missed so far in her busy short life. Cecelia absolutely loves people and will lean in for pets when offered. She loves the wand toys and springs and has the greatest time hiding in a cardboard scratcher house, poking her head out to greet anyone who passes by. Cece would love a house with big, bright windows for birdwatching and basking in the warm sun that she is used to. Cece does not get along with other cats, but the good news is, she loves people! Her ideal home will be one where she has people who work from home or are home often, to give her lots of attention. Cecelia was found in St. Lucia by one of our former adopters, when she wandered into their hotel room and gave birth to five babies. Unfortunately, only three survived, but the remaining family was sponsored by a volunteer and made the journey to Canada when they were old enough to travel. Cece is ready to begin her new life in a home where she can be the kitten that she hasn’t had the chance to be yet. If you have a pet-free home where Cece can be your one and only and get all the attention she craves, you should apply for her today!Adoption processWe also conduct vet checks for all applicants. Due to Covid we are not doing home visits at this time. We are very diligent in our screening of potential adopters. Applications are approved based on best fit for the cat, not first come, first served.Shelter locationWe are currently in the adoption centre at PetSmart Etobicoke, where we have a limited number of cats and kittens. All of our available cats can be viewed on our website.
