Position Details Company: G Star Construction Ltd. Company Location: 12333, 66 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3W 2A3Position: CarpenterJob Type: Full time; PermanentNumber of Positions: 2Salary: 29.00 per hourExpected start date: As soon as possibleWork locations: Various locations in Lower Mainland in BCWork Conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding Job Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Precisely measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, build walls, and install partitions. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Finish surface of woodwork in houses and other buildings, using hand tools and paneling. Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures. Supervise other construction workers in the team Education, Experience & Skills Requirements Completion of high school. Completion of two- to four-year apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in trade Trade certification would be an asset but not mandatory Ability to communicate in English. Ability and willingness to work independently with limited supervision Positive and cooperative attitude Personal integrity and sense of responsibility How to apply?
