This is a challenging and dynamic assignment for an individual who is self-motivated, can manage a variety of assignments, and is seeking to gain experience within all areas of Office administration.The Office Work Coordinator will perform the following duties:(NOC13110)Term: Permanent, Full timeJob Locations: Brampton, OntarioNumber of Position: 1Salary: $28.50 per hourHours: 35 hours per weekOvertime: $42.75 per hour after 44 hours per weekVacation: 10 paid days or vacation pay 4% of gross pay,Job Protected Unpaid Leave: 10 days for personal emergencies such as illness, injury and certain other emergencies and urgent matters. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested (replying to emails, regular mail, and coordinate with the dispatcher and drivers, relaying company decisions). Support company management through a variety of tasks related to organization, and communication. (The employee will fix and organize meetings with trucking/logistic companies with whom we do business and from whom we want to solicit business for the future. They will also schedule meetings between our dispatcher and company drivers who are always short on time because of their atypical schedules. They will take minutes of meetings and follow up with agenda times. The employee will also order office supplies and maintain their inventory). Prepare, tally, verify, and submit office expense payments such as utilities, office supplies, business expenses, credit cards, etc. Answer employees and customer enquiries (The employee will be the main contact person for the company when dealing with phone calls, enquiries, business calls, etc). Assist with any other work that company management may assign. (For example, Support management in preparing for meetings with brief notes and also in setting up office protocols and rules). Perform light bookkeeping duties such as sending invoices, tracking incoming payments, employee work hours, timesheets, logbooks, repair invoices, etc. Maintain equipment’s registration, insurance, and maintenance records. Maintain the effective operation and upkeep of office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, printers, computers, and telephones. sports Calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, and related material for the company. Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Post-Secondary Education in business management or a related discipline. Effective office management skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including attention to proper email etiquette. Attention to detail and confidentiality. High level of initiative and ability to work under minimum supervision or direction. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat DC, MS Teams for meeting setup. Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage pressure.
