Summary of Responsibilities Professionalism Manage assigned projects, focusing on financial oversight Supervise and guide a team to uphold quality standards Mentor less experienced staff through coaching and training Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with existing clients Technical Oversee complex tasks in areas like audit, review, tax, and more Uphold quality control throughout projects Tackle special assignments with expertise Apply specialized knowledge to address client-specific issues Interpersonal Lead and allocate team resources effectively Manage financial aspects of projects Responsively address client inquiries and feedback Development Stay updated with industry developments Promote the firm's brand and consulting prowess Foster productive client relationships Summary of Experience 5+ years in public accounting Requirements University Accounting degree Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation Proficiency in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Strong tax knowledge Experience leading and mentoring teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Familiarity with accounting and tax software like Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazz-it, Tax Prep, and Simply Accounting
