Event & Marketing Coordinator We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Events & Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness and a background in managing consumer events. This individual will be a creative, well-rounded marketing professional with at least 2 years of marketing experience and event management. PERKS: Competitive wage range of $50,000 to $65,000 annual salary The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors Flexible benefit package (Comprehensive package and health spending account) Up to 25% store discount Education allowance Free swag (products, food, clothing + more) Share in some laughs, air high-fives, and fun each day WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: This role is highly focused on the overall strategy and implementation of our event program, including creation and execution of detailed event marketing plans. Event Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, coordination of our annual calendar of events which includes wellness talks, workshops, sales, grand openings and other events in-store and online. Support the planning and execution of in-store events, collaborating with stores, internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective store-level execution and deliver exceptional experiences that foster brand loyalty and drive store traffic and sales. You should be comfortable facilitating events in-person and online and being the customer-facing brand representative. You will host webinars, occasionally moderate discussions, and manage the recording of sessions, addressing technical issues when they arise. Platform Management: Utilize platforms such as WebinarJam, Zoom, and Instagram Live to set up events, manage registrations, and publish event details. Develop detailed event timelines, budgets and work back schedules to ensure seamless execution of events on time and on budget. Regularly communicates with key stakeholders on upcoming events, including our level of involvement, event objectives and key activities taking place on-site. Provide support to store teams including coaching and providing feedback for development. Track, measure and report on event successes while providing insights and recommendations for improving future events and engagements. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules . Assist stores with planning and execution related to community events, including development and production of promotional activities and materials. Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships with key community partners and identify sponsorship opportunities that maximize brand exposure and align with our values. Marketing Coordination: Manage all aspects of event promotion including development of event marketing plans, creative briefs, project plans, and in-store activation. Collaborate with marketing team to manage social media channels and develop relevant content for website, email marketing and other digital platforms in order to promote events and engage the community. Maintain consistent brand standards and messaging both internally and externally. Act as liaison for our nutritionist program in-store, evaluating and optimizing its effectiveness on an ongoing basis and collaborating with our nutritionists to enhance the offering where possible. Provide support to other marketing programs as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration, or equivalent relevant post secondary education paired with retail even experience 2 - 3 years experience in marketing environment with a successful track record of organizing and promoting successful events Experience with social media integration for events Strong communication skills with an emphasis on ensure clarity of messaging Tech savvy Experience working with an in-house marketing or communications group would be considered a strong asset YOU CHECK ALL THE BOXES IF: You love organizing events right from the ground up - you get a thrill out of ensure every aspect of event promotion is executed to perfection You have a high attention to detail and you thrive as an independent contributor as part of a collaborative team You are open to new ideas or challenges that may come your way You thrive on building and nurturing business and community relationships You can easily adapt to shifting priorities and managing multiple priorities and you thrive on meeting regular deadlines You live within daily driving distance of our Vernon Head Office Put your passion into work that matters with a growing, BC-based company committed to be a better company for our customers, our employees, and the planet.
