Watch the video below to learn more about STARS as you begin to explore this amazing opportunity within our organization, you have to be great to work here, we can't wait to meet you - https://youtu.be/B8P0N18WWjo IT Project Manager - 12 month term The Project Manager is responsible for applying the tools of Project Management into a fast-paced environment at the right level of oversight and process to enable the accomplishment of business objectives from technology dependent initiatives. This includes the use of project methodologies including change management and light business analysis. Do you have what it takes? Develops and manages the integrated project plans for major projects with-in the STARS organization. Manages the work of the project team in accordance with the plan and schedule. Monitors all aspects of governance for the project (work schedule, human resources, financial budget, quality, risk, issues) and regularly reports on project status throughout the life of the project. Manages deviations to scope, budget, timeline, quality expectations through formal change request process. Experience executing projects with Microsoft Project Monitors and manages the performance of external providers to ensure product and services are meeting contractual agreement(s) Raises project issues, risks, quality and scope deviations and escalates to the Business Owner, Steering Committee and Sponsor as appropriate. Ensures delivery and quality standards are followed. Provides Business Owner and Steering Committee with recommendations and evidence to support GO/NO GO decisions. Applies a structured change management approach to changes created by the project that will affect people and their roles. Develops a Change Management Plan based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change. Identifies potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance and develops specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns. Conducts readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner. Develops a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan. Supports the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders. Is an active and visible coach to leaders who are change sponsors. Identifies resistance and job performance gaps and works to develop and implement corrective actions. Creates and enables reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success. Works with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan. Business Analysis specific responsibilities includes the facilitation of a gap analysis between current and future state business processes to identify detailed business requirements. Qualifications and Credentials Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience with a broad skillset to be able to manage a variety of project work. PMI Certification or equivalent Proven ability to: deliver clear and concise project documentation. communicate with all levels of management, both verbally and in writing; and work within standard procedures and methodologies. Ability to provide input into procedure and methodology improvement. Proven success at managing and controlling the scope of projects through effective change control and scope management processes Ability to pick up projects mid-stream and delivery the projects to successful completion.
