NOC : 21301 No. of Positions: 1 Work Location: Unit 1, 3771 North Fraser Way, Burnaby BC V5J 5G5 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time. Hours of work: 40 hours per week Start date: As soon as possible. Employment conditions: Wage: $80,000-95,000 annually Job requirements: Languages: English Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 5+ years Work setting: Manufacturing or production Responsibilities:Tasks: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates Develop risk management plans Print in 3D Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment Supervision: 3-4 people Experience and specializationComputer and technology knowledge: SolidWorks software AutoCAD Computer-aided design (CAD) MS Office Area of work experience: Finite element analysis (FEA) Research and development Project management Reliability engineering Design Type of industry experience: Automobile and Trucking industryInspection or testing specialization: Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Area of specialization: Hydraulics and fluids System integration Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system Consumer products Additional informationTransportation/travel information: Willing to travel Travel expenses paid by employer Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment Attention to detail Personal suitability: Accurate Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Organized Team player Ability to multitask Collaborative BenefitsHealth benefits: Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial benefits: Bonus Life insurance Mileage paid Stocks/shares Other benefits: Free parking available On-site amenities Team building opportunities Who can apply to this job?The employer accepts applications from: Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada.
