Career Details Job Title: Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeypersons Number of Openings: 8 Job Type: Temp Minimum Level of Education: 2nd year-Journeyperson Application Deadline: Until Filled Location: Edmonton - 17st Area Shift Rotation: 5/2 Shift (Monday to Friday) for 3 weeks Hours Per Day: 10 hours per day (Monday-Thursday straight time & Friday overtime 8hrs) Start Date: ASAP Position Summary We are seeking multiple Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeyperson for resourcing scaffold work in Edmonton, AB near 17 Street. The successful candidate will report to the site supervisor. Other responsibilities include: Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site. Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding. Erecting scaffolding poles. Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures. Laying planks for workers to walk on. Fixing guard rails and safety netting. Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used. Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures. Our Ideal Candidate Experience with scaffolding preferred (2nd year to Journeyperson). 3-5 years of applicable experience. Must have a valid Driver’s License. CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection. Must be capable of physical labour. Good written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards. Organizational and time management skills. Application Instructions ONEC Group is an equal opportunity employer.
