About the Role: The Members Systems Operations Specialist role is a critical support role for the Director of Operations, responsible for supporting the Green Key Global sustainability certification program through technical support, quality assurance and human resources. This is an exciting time for the program, and it is positioned for rapid expansion and is undergoing significant investment. This role will be focused on developing and testing our product to ensure our program meets the highest standards for global certification programs. You’ll also support HR initiatives, assisting with employee recruitment, onboarding, and training programs.You’ll thrive in this role if you are a critical thinker with a keen eye for detail, have problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality. The ideal candidate has the levelheadedness it takes to logically evaluate our programs and discover untapped potential in our systems and potential staff to guarantee a best-in-class certification journey for our hotel members. Key Responsibilities IT Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. Collaborate with the development team to implement and maintain security protocols and data backup procedures. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that critical infrastructure and data points are maintained and managed according to standards. Develop and execute test plans to ensure applications meet quality standards. Conduct thorough testing of software products, identify defects, and document issues. Work closely with development teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner. HR Coordination: Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Support HR initiatives such as employee onboarding, training programs, and performance evaluations. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in IT support, quality assurance, and HR coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Familiarity with HR software systems and IT management tools including JIRA Softdesk, Microsoft 365 Self-directed, self-starter with the ability to manage time, prioritize and work independently. Able to administer project management of complex programs, updates, and technology improvements. Comfortable with technology, including learning new software. Proficient with MS Teams, Zoom and other collaboration platforms. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, hospitality, communications, or a related field; equivalent experience also considered. Prior experience with certification / accreditation programs OR hotel operations and management experience are necessary. Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and standards would be a benefit. 2+ years of progressive operational experience with analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on continuous improvement. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders and deliver results. Bilingualism (English & French) would be an asset but is not required. Previous experience in sustainability, associations, or similar roles would be considered an asset. Previous experience with certification programs would be considered an asset.
