Media Services Technician Regular Full-time Duties : Working under the direction of the Media Service Coordinator, and reporting to the Chief Information Officer, IT Services; this position is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio visual and media production equipment. A significant portion of the work is dedicated to cabling, mounting equipment, and finding creative solutions to integrate solutions in challenging learning spaces. This position also provides excellent customer service to students & staff as well as occasional technical support for college events. Qualifications : a Diploma in electronics, computer systems or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution, or significant equivalent experience with 1 year working with advanced presentation and AV technologies. Crestron Authorized Independent Programmer Extron Programming Certification Electrical/trades certifications would be considered an asset. Please review the Full Job Description below. Salary: Position# CUPE Pay Level 5 with a starting wage of $48,994.40 per year Step 1 starting wage with yearly increments progressing to Step 5 as per CUPE Collective Agreement.
