Rentco's Tool Shed (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd.) is a local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. They provide the tools and equipment to complete home-owner repairs and maintenance. Rentco's Tool Shed is also a "go-to" place in Grande Prairie for event and U-Haul rentals and Stihl and Husqvarna tolls. We are currently looking for a full-time Seasonal Laborer (Mid- April to the end of August). As a Seasonal Labourer, you are responsible for : Preparing and loading shipments for customers and clients Traveling to customer and client sites to set-up and take-down event tents and other rental supplies, such as dance floors, tables, chairs, etc. Inspecting returned items for damages and reporting them to Management Washing the tents, tables, and chairs according to company standards Completing secure and accurate loading and unloaded of deliveries Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard Performing routine checks on rental equipment to ensure that it is safe and in good working order Demonstrating equipment to customers and ensuring they feel comfortable using the rental equipment You have the following skills and abilities: Class 5 driver’s licence Ability to work outside in all temperatures while wearing required PPE (steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses) Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights using man-lifts and ladders Ability to take initiative and work hard as a team member Ability to provide excellent customer service skills General knowledge of homeowner equipment and mechanical experience would be an asset Rentco’s Tool Shed offers: Competitive wages Promote from within policy Fantastic team to work with Monthly cake days to celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries Powered by JazzHR
