Their main duties include repairing, adjusting, and maintaining essential machinery used in mining operations. Using a variety of hand and mechanical tools, they handle routine adjustments, replace faulty components, and engage in welding tasks when necessary. Millwrights are also instrumental in developing and implementing preventive maintenance protocols to enhance operational efficiency and decrease machinery downtime. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently carry out millwright duties, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintain and repair a wide range of industrial machinery within the plant and other necessary equipment. Execute installations and modifications to industrial equipment as needed. Perform welding and cutting tasks as required. Diagnose mechanical issues across a diverse set of equipment. Adhere to and enforce all company production policies and procedures. Comply with established safety and quality standards within designated timelines. Maintain a clean and secure working environment. Implement the predetermined monthly maintenance schedule. Uphold strict adherence to workplace health and safety regulations. Qualifications: hold a red seal millwright certificate Possesses a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Education) in industrial mechanics or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license Must pass required aptitude tests. Should have all necessary qualifications and skills pertinent to the role.
