Job Title: Data Entry Clerk Location: Halifax, NS Company: Dialospact Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, impeccable accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our company database. Responsibilities: Inputting alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the appropriate fields within the database Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data through regular reviews and cross-referencing Verifying data by comparing it to source documents Identifying and correcting errors, or escalating discrepancies to supervisors Organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems Generating reports and performing data analysis as needed Assisting with other administrative tasks as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proficient typing skills (touch typing) with a high level of accuracy Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and within a team Familiarity with administrative procedures and basic accounting principles is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and data entry software
