Position Summary: In the role of Technical Support Specialist, the primary responsibility is maintaining positive relationships with service technicians and manufacturers for parts identification and problem solving. The Technical Support Specialist must thrive in an extremely fast paced work environment with high deliverables. This role will report into the Customer Service Manager. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with Service department in researching parts required for Service Orders Ensure parts required for service are ordered promptly, accurately and that all necessary charges and corrections are made Review all drafted estimates from both Service Departments (example: McDonalds & Tim Hortons) Ensure all part numbers are accurate, update if there has been a part number change and notify service department(s) of any monitory changes Provide lead time on non-stock parts Maintain vendor information Deliver estimates to customers (electronically, mail, etc.) Print and file estimate for holding file Research for parts, equipment break downs, service information, alternative solutions Help and provide information over the phone to in the field technicians Responsible for accuracy of service truck inventory Other duties as required Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of customer service experience Minimum high school education or equivalent Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), email applications (Outlook) and ability to learn new computer systems Valid Driver's License Mechanical and electrical aptitude Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a customer service approach to work Strong time management and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills over the phone, in person, and through email Why work for Choquette CKS?
