Starchitect Consulting & Construction currently requires an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team! This is a full time (30 hours per week), permanent position.The main duties of this role include but are not limited to: Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers, vendors, and contractors engaged in bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating and painting, and workers who install and service prefabricated products in residential and commercial properties; Work with leadership to establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities for all active project sites; Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality of work sites; Requisition of construction materials and supplies for upcoming and ongoing projects; Train workers, vendors, and subcontractors in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; Prepare work progress reports for key internal and external stakeholders; Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of labourers, subcontractors, and vendors for multiple projects happening simultaneously; Must be flexible/able to work overtime as and when needed; and, Any other duties consistent with the role in Canada. Role Requirements: Must have at least 5 years of related construction industry experience at the supervisor level High School education Compensation Details: Hourly rate: CAD $40 Vacation days: 10 annually Bonus: May be eligible for a bonus based on performance Work Address: 2133 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1N2, as well as work sites across Ontario.
