C OMMUNITY/ PUBLIC SAFETY ASSISTANT (Public Safety) - (Permanent, Full-time) NATURE OF POSTION: The Community/Public Safety Assistant is dedicated to provide assistance to Public Safety Operations of Community Services. Under supervision general supervision, the Community/Public Safety Assistant provides support for Public Safety Operations in matters related to local services and programs. The Assistant coordinates and implements the Emergency Social Services program and assists with the Emergency Management program. The Community/Public Safety Assistant reports to the Manager of Public Safety Operations. RATE OF PAY: $36.91 per hour (January 1, 2024 rate) DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: As set out in the job description. BENEFITS: In accordance with the Collective Agreement with C.U.P.E Local 1699.
