Our client located in Montreal is looking for Assistant Manager Accounting. This is a contract position. Hours: Full time- 40 hours/week. On site at least once a week. CPA is mandatory.Language: English / French (Fluent in English, Working proficiency in French)Skill-set: Comfortable in accounting systems (Sage 300 is used) Experience with manufacturing company Month end experience Posting / reviewing journal entries Creation and review of financial statements Overall understanding of accounting month-end processes (a/r, a/p, ppe, investments, inventory, etc.) Assessing need for provisions/reserves Strong understanding of revenue cycle Overseeing a/r invoicing and revenue recognition Overseeing a/r collections and analysis of aging Largely project based Balancing deferred revenue schedule and cycle Overseeing cash receipts Ability to manage/coach small team Organized, able to understand client particularities
