***AT SHELTER***J'adore Dior! Dior the cat, that is.Through no fault of his own, our boy made the trip from the House of Dior to EHS, and is settling into his new digs. Far from the world's runways, Dior seems to prefer a more subdued lifestyle-no limelight for this guy!Although Dior is by no means a cat of haute couture, his "cat-ure" is quite a fashionable piece. From his chic, grey and white tabby coat, to his pristine white boots, he definitely wears his attire well-he is one handsome "monsieur." He certainly enjoyed all the luxuries of life in his previous home-a daily brush kept his coat glistening and chasing his feather wand allowed him to stay in tip-top shape. Dior is an active feline, and regular playtime sessions will ensure he uses up his energy in a positive way; otherwise, he might just set his stalking sights on you!Dior is a curious soul who will greet volunteers by winding around their legs and chatting away. Once comfortable, he allows pets on his head and back, giving a gentle swat when he wishes to move on and strut his stuff. Like many cats, if Dior feels his initial request for space is being ignored, he may scratch or nip. Dior will do best in a home with an experienced cat owner who will be able to read his body language and respect his boundaries. As previous interactions with felines have unfortunately been less than cordial, Dior wants to rule as an only cat in a quiet household. It is unknown if he has encountered dogs, so it's best they stay out of this mix.Would you like to be the one to offer Dior a runway of his very own? Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.--------------------Interested in adopting Dior? It's easy!
