Job Requirements:Language: Not required Education:Not required. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 Year. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:Candidate must be able to complete tight deadlines in a physically demanding work environment and handle a combination of sitting, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling throughout the duration of the shift. Work Location Information:Various Locations Personal Suitability:Be reliable, flexible and have good judgement skills Major Work Area:Construction Specific Skills: Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities. Help heavy equipment operators fasten specialized attachments to their machinery, give signals to other operators so they may move equipment safely, and aid with other tasks. Assist in pipe alignment and carry out associated tasks when building an oil and gas pipeline. Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel. Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment. Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials. Perform other activities at construction site, as directed.
