Permanent Position: Framer CarpenterNo. of vacancies: 2Start Date: As soon as possibleMain Location: 1010 East 63rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V5X 2L1Major Work Area: Construction- Residential & CommercialWork Location: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Fraser Valley & Lower Mainland depending upon the Company's contracts Wage rate: $30.00-$33.00 per hour (35-40 hours per week)Term of Employment: Full time, Permanent Education: Completion of High School is requiredExperience: 1-2 years of relevant experienceLanguage: Basic Knowledge of English.Job Duties: Prepares layout using ruler, framing square & callipers. Supervise apprentices and other construction workers Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitute, and other materials. Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures. Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware Marks cutting and assembling lines on material. Shape material to prescribed measurements using saws, chisels and planes. Matches materials to requested design specificationsAdditional Skills: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
