THE CLEANERS AT CARMENS EVENT CENTRE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Carry out all cleaning tasks as assigned in guest and employee spaces (offices, washrooms, banquet halls/foyer) Identify efficient methods to be used in carrying out routine cleaning tasks for desired results Regularly use various cleaning products Provide a clean, welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and employees Collect debris/waste, empty trash containers, and dispose properly General cleaning duties include, but are not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors, window/mirror cleaning, dusting, dishware and cutlery cleaning, furniture cleaning Service, clean and disinfect washrooms, replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required Removal and collection of linens as needed Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities Other duties as assigned CLEANER POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Friendly, professional, and customer focused Positive, outgoing, and friendly team player Ability to tolerate cleaning products Reliable with strong attention to detail Ability to stay motivated when completing tasks Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision Previous cleaning experience an asset Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and overnight shifts Reliable transportation required WHAT CAN WE OFFER?
