Location: Delta, BC Wage: $20.00 per hour Work Schedule: 8 hours per day for 40 hours per week.Start date: Starts as soon as possible.Vacancies: 5 The individual will be responsible for the following tasks: Job duties: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and biosecurity procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting. Develop work schedules and establish procedures. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Job Requirements Experience: 1-2 years of experience.Education: Secondary School or lessSkills: Team-Player, Punctual, Efficient, attention to detail, repetitive TasksBenefits: 4% vacation pay or 2 weeks per yearWork environment: Dusty and Outdoors
