JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a detail-oriented Item Master Intern , who assists in maintaining and updating the item master database in SAP. This role is responsible for performing data entry, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with the Inventory Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, familiarity with Excel or Python for data analysis, and the ability to support ad-hoc projects and tasks related to inventory management. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in maintaining and updating the accuracy of item master database in SAP Support in identifying discrepancies or errors in item master data and work towards resolving them Collaborate with the IM team to develop and implement automation solutions for item master maintenance Analyze data using Excel or Python to identify trends and patterns in inventory management Assist in populating templates for Winshuttle Studio to streamline data entry and update processes Support the team in any other tasks related to inventory management Projects: Current Material Master Data - gathering missing data and update SAP Master data validation project between two systems QUALIFICATIONS Education: Currently enrolled in the field of Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is an advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation Basic understanding of database concepts and data entry principles Familiarity with SAP or willingness to learn and adapt to new systems quickly Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for automating tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and maintenance Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
