Facility maintenance Coordinator - Contract
Description:
The incumbent will work within our client's facilities and will be responsible for providing security, safety, and preventative/corrective maintenance to the Customer's Campus. The on-site Facilities Coordinator position reports to the Facilities Superintendent. The working schedule is from 9:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, this is a one year contract with the possibility to become permanent in the future.Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform general repairs and maintenance in an office & warehouse environment. Prioritize and complete daily, weekly and monthly work orders. Assist with monitoring of contracted services to HVAC, Grounds Maintenance and Fire Equipment. Identifying building equipment problems and recommend corrective action. Liaison with contracts to obtain quotes/coordinate work. Provides administrative support for contracts, service agreements and reporting for environmental & administrative functions. Support Facility Superintendent with special projects. Undertakes other tasks and assignments as assigned Requirements: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a facility. Working in an Industrial building is an asset. Environmental studies degree is an asset. Communicate in English verbally and in writing fluently. Good Computer skills.
