If that wasn’t enough, our technology is backed by two decades of award-winning client service. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Alexa Translations. The IT Manager will play a key role in overseeing our technology infrastructure and ensuring its security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Reporting to the VP of Technology, the IT Manager will lead a talented team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to support the company's objectives. Responsibilities: Technology Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and upgrade of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to support the company's operations. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals and a Support Team. Set goals, assign projects, and provide guidance and support to team members. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Information Security Management: Develop, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's sensitive data, systems, and networks. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including SOCS2 and ISO270001. Serve as a compliance officer to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Security incident management. Develop and implement security incident management policy and process. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can quickly recover from IT outages or disruptions. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Assist with budgeting and allocating resources effectively to meet the company's technology needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company. Communicate with stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and priorities and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on information security and compliance. Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is preferred Experience working with international remote teams. Certifications in ITIL and CISSP would be an asset Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
